Une nouvelle version du navigateur Firefox vient fraîchement de sortir. Chose importante à noter, cette version 59.0 n'est pas une ESR comme Mozilla a l'habitude de faire toutes les 7 versions (la dernière en date est la ESR 52.7.0), il faudra attendre que la version 60.0 pointe le bout de son nez pour pouvoir dire adieu de manière officielle aux anciennes extensions ainsi qu'au support de Windows XP et Vista. Néanmoins, la ESR 52 ira tout de même jusqu'à la .9 avant qu'elle ne soit mise de côté.
Dans cette version 59.0, la fondation aura particulièrement travaillé sur les performances du navigateur sans oublier quelques petits ajouts bienvenus dans diverses parties (screenshots, Webextensions, specifications W3C, etc...).
